Think I've Cracked It

Day #11 of #Blogtoberfest14 and I'll like to report that I may have just got the hang of photographing my products with a decent clean background.

They're not completely white but I'm happy with them.  I've gone from 3 lights to just 1.

What do you  think?  They're not perfect but I think I'm getting there.

I was pleased with these - they were taken independently and I managed to get both backgrounds the same.

This ones still a bit blue but it's not going on the website but at least the background is even.

The one on the right is much better

These 2 were some of my previous photographs and you can certainly see the difference.

They look good to me! I usually bump up the levels/brightness in Photoshop, which results in a whiter background.

Photographing is the bane of on line selling!! I have found that if I over expose the camera setting and then adjust the contrast in PhotoScape then I get good photos of the glass. I even read the manual and Googled my camera name for Dummies. My daughter is doing Commercial Photography at Uni and keeps ordering books so no doubt I will be reading a bit more on how to take good pics!! Yours look pretty good to me, that star is fabulous with the colours.

I think your photos look great. I have trouble taking photos of shiny porcelain, my post today will confirm that.
