Day 3 of 29 Faces Challenge

Day 3 of the 29 Faces Challenge and today we have an abstract style face. I thought I'd try a different approach to the challenge as I'm sure everyone is tired, bored or both by now of the whimsy style of my work plus it's good to get out of your comfort zone every now and again.  So here it is painted with acrylic paint on watercolour paper, outlines in black pitt pen................I've just realised I've not added any white highlights to the eyes.....oooppps.

You can see other artists work over at the 29 Faces Challenge blog.

It's so funny you say someone might be tired of your whimsy...I am doing the 29 faces challenge (with a limited background in art) and would love to have a little of it come my way! These are fabulous!

Lovely work, I didn't notice the lack of white in the eyes, you're a harsh self critic. Looking forward to visiting again soon x

We're all such harsh critics of ourselves. Most of us probably wouldn't have even notices the absence of the highlights at all! Good luck with the challenge.
