So now I am busy making up stock for the shop -yep I decided to go ahead and give it a go. The shop had a steady stream of customers coming in while I was there and when the Christmas market starts in a couple of weeks I can see it getting really busy especially as there is going to be a cafe set up outside and a host of craft huts which will lead from the main market at Albert Square to Spinningfields.
Today's make are some beaded felt flowers. The flowers are cut with a sizzix die cut and the beads hand sewn into the middle. I've gone for some pretty bright colours - we all need some colour especially as the days are now cold, damp and grey.
Don't forget it's also Handmade Monday over on Handmade Harbour blog and Creative Monday. Pop along and see what other crafter's have been up to.
Stay warm and craft
Anita

Love the look of your flowers - good luck with the shop :)
Ah! Now that's better with the comments thing. I should've mentioned it before now - sorry. The flowers look gorgeous and I think your things will be a success in the shop - good luck x
The flowers are beautiful, are you going to add them to something? Good luck with the pop-up shop.
Thanks ladies :)
Wendy thanks for letting me know I thought I'd fixed it before now - obviously not. I did wonder why there were no comments being left by my regular reader.
Good luck with the pop up shops. I love your flowers :)
I spent many years making and selling handmade jewelry at markets. It was always a great time, usually good business, and most of all a chance to find out what people want at different times. Good luck
Your flowers are wonderful! Such great colours. Good luck with your shop x
Thank you for the good wishes :)
Love these flowers they are so pretty
Congrats on the shop adventure! Sounds like fun! I've been trying to find a fast way of cutting the same shape for ages; I want to cover a button block in tiny white silk flowers, but cutting them by hand makes it totally unaffordable! After some (obviously unsuccessful - what was I thinking!?) paper die experiments, I've just googled your choice of tool and added it to the top of my Christmas list! :) Thank you for your expertise! Have a great week! x
Those are gorgeous, Anita!
Hi,
I came across your blog on Handmade Harbour and was very excited to see you are in Manchester. I'm in Chorlton. All the best with your pop-up shop. Let us know where it is and I will pop in :-)
Sally
Thanks everyone for your kind words.
The flowers are lovely, good luck with the shop:)
