Well here we are again it's Monday and it's time for Handmade Monday started by Wendy from 1stuniquegifts. I have not made anything today as I've been busy moving the last bits out of the studio and haven't had time to make anything creative. This time last year I was moving in - time flies :).
I was telling Wendy that I had started knitting again and would offer that as a work in progress. I have no idea how long it's going to take me to make this cardigan (for me). I've already discovered that the yarn is difficult to undo if you make a mistake- that's if you can spot it lol. It works up quite bubbly (if you can call it that) so if you were following a pattern it wouldn't matter as you'd never spot it.

Hope that you get back into making again quite soon. Your bit of knitting so far reminds me a bit of a weave a man would wear on his head. I am sure that the finished result will look lovely. Make sure we get an update every week
Knitting looks great well done. I tried knitting with similar wool last year but seemed to end up with extra stitches at the end of each row so gave up!
Good luck with the move. Hope you're going to show us the finished article!
Good luck with the move :)

It looks a very close stitch ( I know nothing about knitting though ) and lush and warm too :-) Hope you get it done though and you are happy with the finished result :-0
I hope everything goes well with the move. I know I find things like that stressful. Interesting choice in wool. Can't say I have seen anything with that finish before. Then again I know nothing about knitting lol.
Want to see the finished item please!
Thanks for popping over to leave your comments they are much appreciated.
I finished moving the last bits and even managed to get it all cleaned and hoovered up yesterday. So all I need to do now is hand the keys in on Wednesday. It'll be sad to leave because I've made some really good friends there.
I will definately show the finished piece and maybe a weekly progress report lol.
Looking forward to seeing the finished item! :)
That's looking great - would love to see it when finished.
I am so rubbish at knitting, haven't done it for about 30 years . . . my mum had an unfinished mohair cardi of mine under her stairs for years after I moved out. No idea what happened to it!
Thanks for taking part in Handmade Monday - and hopefully see you on Saturday at the Warrington Market event x
Good luck with the knitting, i hope it turns out how you hoped :) x
