Day 3 of 30 Paintings in 30 Days

Today's ATC (artist trading card) is inspired by a quote by Ralph Emerson - "Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year".  I try to live everyday being grateful for everything that I have and that everyday is a new beginning.
Inktense water colour pencils.
Have a wonderful day.

What's On Your Work Desk? Wednesday #294

Hello to another WOYWW and time to nosey on over to Julia's blog the Stamping Ground to see what's on everyone's work desk.  You'll also find details of how you can join in the fun.  I like a bit of a nosey around don't you?

I'm afraid I have nothing to show on my desk this Wednesday.  This is how I left it before going off to the gym.  So here are the remains of the items I'd been using to make some inspirational cards for my gym buddy.  Packs of gems, my glue sticks, bottles of paint and a selection of rubber stamps which still need to be cleaned up - yeah I know I should do them straight away but hey I was on a roll.  I'm liking how my clean off paper is looking - that will go towards a new background to a canvas or something.

Here are the 2 inspirational postcards I made for Angela (my gym buddy).

Happy Wednesday
Anita

Oh and just a reminder and apology for the 'NOT A ROBOT' check instead of word verification you can ignore it.  It can't be removed unless you have a Google account which I do but have no idea how to remove it.

Sunday Sentiments #4

A very quick post from me today for the Sunday Sentiments link up with Inky Dinky Doodle - this is a journal page I made nearly 12 months ago and I thought I would share it today.

"The past is just a ghost, the future is a dream, all we ever has is now - Bill Crosby"

I love this quote.  There is only the NOW.  We can make intentions for the future but the universe will deliver only when the time is right.  When I look back at some of the things that have occurred in my life I can see now where it was all leading - or at least some of it.  The last few years I've become more aware of the Law of Attraction and how the universe works and how to make my life better and maybe direct it to how I want it to be in the future.

Please do pop over and see what the other artists are sharing for Sunday Sentiments.

Day 4 of the 30 paintings in 30 days

So today is day 4 of the 30 paintings in 30 days and I'm already behind with my blog posts.  I'm slowly getting back into some kind of routine.  I have made the paintings for each day but as it got dark early I wasn't able to take any pictures until today.  Also it was the first week back at work.  Thursday was my first day back after nearly 2 1/2 weeks.  Yesterday I took my niece out and had a great time - we went to see WANTED Robin Hood at the Lowry theater Salford.  It was an alternative play to the original - most enjoyable.

Here are my paintings for days 2,3 and 4.

Day 2 and 3 -these are similar to day one - I needed to make a set of these for trading.  They are Artist Trading Cards 2.5 x 3.5 inches in size.

Day 4 - Faber Castell polychromo pencils, acrylic, white and black pen, rubber stamped words - water colour paper. 15x11 cms

If you fancy joining in the fun or just want to see what others are creating then pop on over to Slices of Life blog.
